A model with digital display and degassing is better because you can see if the water temperature is getting too warm. A side effect of generating ultrasonic sound waves is also generating warmth which in turn, raises the temperature of water in the tank. Even if you don't turn the heating on, the water temperature will rise when the machine is working.

Any 6 Ltr or 9 Ltr ultrasonic cleaner is the best size tank for cleaning vinyl records. This is because it is deep enough to accept a record held vertically and can hold multiple records on the spindle of the rotating device.

The machine shown above is a 6 Ltr ultrasonic tank with digital display with degassing.
