Buying an ultrasonic cleaner for jewellery

Price is always a major factor and when deciding which ultrasonic cleaner to buy, but I have a mantra about the selection process – SIZE MATTERS. Measure what you need to clean and then select an ultrasonic cleaner to suit that size.

For most domestic requirements, a 2 Ltr or 3 Ltr size tank will be ideal.

Your next decision will be which type to buy DIGITAL or DIAL control. Both will clean to the same standard because they have the same components on the inside.

With dial control, the timer is mechanical with a maximum time of 20 minutes before it "pings out". You can of course set it again for another 20 minutes. The digital machine is microchip control and will run up to 99 minutes. The digital machines also have degassing.

Finally, don't forget to buy some of our specialist jewellery cleaning fluid to go in the ultrasonic cleaner.
