Basically, the more the ultrasonic mouse repeller costs and therefore the more area it protects.

Allow a couple of weeks for the units to have an effect. This is because mice and other vermin need to associate your space as uncomfortable and so move on. Don't for get that unless you use mouse traps or poison, you are not getting rid of the problem. You are simply moving it somewhere else.
The ultrasonic mouse repeller will remain effective for several years.
