Maximum and minimum fluid levels

Ultrasonic cleaners need a minimum level of fluid in the tank to prevent damage to the internal components.

The minimum fill is around 66% (2/3rd) of the tank. If you filled a tank to the very top, when you placed your component in it, there is a risk of the overfill spilling down the back and front of the tank. The maximum fill is to stop this happening.

The maximum fill is up to the "max fill" line which you can see in most tanks. This is normally about 20mm from the top of the tank.
