My ultrasonic cleaner is making a loud buzzing noise.

Ultrasonic cleaners do make a buzzing / hissing sound. It's a side effect of producing ultrasonic sound waves. The "white noise" indicates cavitation is happening. That means bubbles are being formed (at microscopic level) and it is these bubbles that do the cleaning.
