There's a wide variety of carburettors available in the market, each with it's own set of dimensions. It is not feasible to know of the specific measurements for every individual carburetor. Therefore, it is necessary for you to measure the dimensions of your own carburetor.

Measuring the overall dimensions of your carburettor isn’t always possible or easy, especially if the carbs are still bolted to the engine. In this situation it’s a “best guesstimate”. As you will be removing some of the carb parts such as float bowls, slides, jets etc the overall tank size required might be smaller (and also a bit lower in price).

If feasible, it is advisable to buy an ultrasonic carburettor cleaner that is slightly larger than what you need. Attempting to fit a large carburettor into a small tank may compromise the efficiency of the cleaning process. By placing the carburettor in a larger tank, it enables the ultrasonic waves to propagate more uniformly and effortlessly. As the saying goes, “what will hold more will hold less”.
